The Big Day

Tomorrow begins my first day as an official high school teacher. I've been teaching in a junior high for eight years and will now be at the high school. It always amused me that the ninth graders in the junior high building are told they are high school students when they are not in that building. I think it would be better for them to be in the actual high school building, but there is a "not enough room" problem in our high schools which prevents that. So I guess I'll see for myself whether freshmen really should be in the "Big School" or not this year. I plan to start a new blog to chronicle this transition for myself, and any others who may happen upon it. I'll link to it here when I do.
